Synopsis:

Tahereh has organized a gathering for her husband’s pilgrimage trip to Karbala (Iraq). In contrast, her husband has traveled to Antalya (Turkey) for recreation and has suffered a stroke there due to consuming Viagra! Now the family is secretly gathering money for his treatment.

Director’s Note:

My problem is the problem of women. And especially Middle Eastern women, whose pain might be unheard of. Issues such as honor and protecting life at the cost of not speaking of their most natural rights were my main concerns(motivations) while making this movie. Issues that capture and imprison Middle Eastern women like a prison without walls. They neglect themselves and selflessly or forcefully devote their lives to their husbands and children as if it is pointless to pay attention to their desires as “a woman” and it is the man and the well-being of the family that determines what should be done or thought.
