Synopsis:

The story of the last day of the life of a young boy who dreams a place and wakes up in the same place in the morning. One day, the boy who is selling the last household items to continue his life, handcuffs his hand to the stove at night, so that maybe this will prevent him from being thrown to his sleeping place. But not only does it not prevent him, but he dreams of a distant place from which he can no longer return. Death comes to him in the form of a horizontal hatch and the boy dies by opening the door and touching the door frame. But in his imagination, he returns home and continues his life. But little by little, the hand in the frame starts to sprout and turn green. The same thing happened to his lifeless body in the place where he saw the door and fell to the ground.

Director’s Note:

Cinema is a place of imagination for me. I enjoy fiction and real narration, but when I start to write or imagine making films my world would be closer to magical realism. In my film, Inner Seeds I tried to furnish an old dream. What will happen where our soul, conscience, or imagination goes when we sleep, due to the defects or an exceptionality, our body goes to? The first time was fabulous for me to think about what if I sleep in Tehran and woke up in Paris. But the nature of my mind has been made by magical realism. So, after that sweet imagination, I tried to figure out the real issues that exist in the real world. For example, it’s hard to find a job easily and have a peaceful life.
